All of our lakefront homes are close to a myriad of activities yet located in
peaceful settings where you can see and hear wildlife, count millions of
sparkling stars, and recharge your batteries.
Some of the things to see and do within a 15 minute drive:
- Antique shopping in Jamestown
- Hike the wooded, hilly terrain -- see how many waterfalls you can find or
how well you can rock-climb
- Launch your watercraft or rent one at Jump-N-Ski 270-343-5600
- Go Tubing, water skiing, or wakeboard on the miles of pristine water
- Jump in for a quick swim or float around all day
- Go fishing and try to catch the next World Record Striper (Charters
and Guides available)
- Beach/anchor your vessel on any of the numerous islands and go
exploring
- Scuba Dive the deep blue waters and see first hand what life was like
in the valley before Lake Cumberland was created
- Take the group to the swimming beach down the road
- Let the kids burn off excess energy at the
SomerSplash water park
- Play 18 holes at Lake
Cumberland Golf Club or
Lakewood Country Club;
or enjoy 9 holes at
Lake Cumberland State
Park
- Take the kids (young or old) to the
Mini-Indy Kart Track Family Fun Center
(Go Karts, Putt Putt
Course, pool tables, and Arcade)
- Have a meal at your choice of many fast food, buffet, or full-service
restaurants
- Try your luck at the Jamestown Off Track Betting facility
- Go shopping at Dollar General, Big K, Kroger, or any of the other local stores
- Pick up fresh fruits and vegetables at the Farmer's Markets
- Take the whole group bowling
- Fill up on popcorn at the Movie Theatres
- Go Horseback Riding at Lake Cumberland State Park
- Find a bargain at the World's Largest Yard Sale (Normally
the first full weekend in August)
- Ride ATV's (check first with KY Dept. of Natural Resources, Army Corps
of Engineers, etc. to locate acceptable riding locations since land
immediately surrounding our houses is privately owned)

- Jump off of 76
Falls where Indian Creek spills into Lake Cumberland. Also
accessible by boat. (Roadside park, picnicking, rest rooms; KY
734 off US 127, N. of Albany)
